BLAB73 - the E-6 Mercury - looks to be doing touch-and-gos at Dover at the moment. Wish I was there to see it!
Split the difference as partially operational.. seems has anti-icing and coms problems. They're operational.
I think I just heard the jets over Rehoboth.Sounds like intercept practice on 122.75. There are a couple of CAP flights over/near the bay.
Weak DC ANG A>A on 238.175

Is there a preferred place to spot from? Gonna be heading down there at some point. My wife, who thankfully likes military aircraft as much as I do, was in Elizabeth City, NC for work this morning. Caught an E2 running the pattern.
Unfortunately she didn’t have time to stick around to grab some photos of the Coast Guard aircraft that were also in the area.
A few items/questions from the 6/7 recordings:
1 - Can't find a callsign SCOOTER in any of my stuff, but he ID's as an A-4 and appears to mostly working W122. Navy or Marine adversary?

I was down there in November, and never found anyplace I thought was that good. There's a convenience store at the intersection of Weeksville Rd & Consolidated Road, and there's a small parking lot at the airport terminal but your view will be obstructed by a chainlink fence. While you're down there, you can see the Weeksville Dirigible Hangar just a couple miles away. Set your GPS to take you to Airship Drive. Is there a preferred place to spot from? Thanks for the info. I might try some of the road pulloffs on Davis Bay. The dirigible hangar is definitely interesting - on ADSB as of 0830 local. Do you know what TCOM tests with the balloons there?I was down there in November, and never found anyplace I thought was that good. I didn't catch much, but it was also Thanksgiving weekend. YMMV

They were lingering for quite a long time (hours) over South Edison - didn't hear anything on the radio but looked like they stopped off at Old Bridge Airport to refuel.Pair of Lakota’s at 5500 in Bravo orbiting over Edison NJ. Something has their interest.
Lifted from Colts Neck.
1135 - Has RETRO 31 flight (F-35) in tow, up on boom 378.200. Expecting another F-35 to depart KBTV and join the flight for the Atlantic crossing.See a BLUE-83 #18-46049 departed Wichita then down towards Texas Ark border now Northeast towards Lake Erie at fl260.. assume dragging someone on delivery.
I saw nothing resembling active or current there. One thing to be careful of is that my GPS took me initially down TCOM's private road. They're building a pretty high-end looking community down there, and there's better and legal access via that. I looked up the approach patterns for Runway 10, and the ILS IP appears to be near an island in the Chowan river 5 or 6 miles north of Arrowhead Beach. Please share if you find any good spots! Thanks for the info. I might try some of the road pulloffs on Davis Bay. The dirigible hangar is definitely interesting - on ADSB as of 0830 local.
