About 1200 miles but remember they have their travel ER gas tank underneath them.. Should be no problem.

Yeah N4TX in years past the Dover C-5's in past heat waves always waited till night time to depart overseas loaded.
Do you know if they’re en route yet?

A guy in MRB was reminding me on Saturday that C-5s were also once based at MRB. That's about an 8,800-foot runway and a lot of metal to lift off the ground in summer heat and humidity.

F-22 Demo Team jet RAPTOR01 is on his way back to Langley this afternoon with “Pistol” in the cockpit, departing KMLI a few minutes ago following the weekend Quad City Air Show. The other jet experienced fuel systems issues here on the ground at MLI as they prepared to depart. Team commander “RaZZ” Larson is staying behind with that jet for the time being until they have a resolution.

1801z. I have MASH 82 refueling RAVEN 11 flight of six on 271.4 boom. A-A for RAVENs 266.6
Thats them! Guess they do need or asked for at least one topoff to get home. Surprising.
Funny that boom freq is also one of their squad A/A's :) Got to dodge some wx on way back too.
Wx looks better offshore so maybe they will do Coast on way back but looks like they are plowing thru behind MASH-82

Looks like tankers for SPICY-11 flight are FLAM-31 #16-46020 and FLAM-32 #57-1432...
Should be up before 4PM or so out of Pease.

SISAL-01 Dover C-17 #06-6165 been up all day circling around landing Runway 1 at KILG.
"Full stop" on tower 126.000.. Rare C-17 visitor.. Captain when he departed Dover this morning.. "SEE YA".

MASH-82 headed for home so assume A-10's on their way now. FLAM-31 off Pease Eastbound.

Martin A-10's A/A strong 266.600 inbound. All separated spreading out by 1k feet in altitude dropping down
and slowing to 250 knots.

FLAM-31 dodging wx up toward Moncton.. for some reason all the Moncton Live ATC feeds are down :(
Seems all the Canadian feeds are down..

Ok hearing now . Listening to: Gander Center 133.150 | St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada | LiveATC.net

callsign VIMY-11-12? and MOLSON-01.. Maybe RCAF planes coming back.. Molson-01 push "Sidecar freq 234.700" then later contact Sidecar on 306.400
1540 ATC with SPICY-11 flight says traffic is 25 miles off your nose.
I think the RCAF VIMY's F/18's did some practice B-1 intercepts/escorts/photo-op and MOLSON-01 tanker may land St Johns.
From Ron's callsign list.. VIMY CF-18 CANFORCE 3 Wing/425th TFS, CFB Bagotville

1549 hrs local, non-milair. There are commercial fights in unusual patterns above Northeast philly. I wonder if there are issues at PIA.

2 flights are redirected. All flights were suppose to go to Newark.

Look at the weather radar up towards NY/NJ.. That is the problem.. Also it is PHL . PIA is Peoria Illinois :)

SPICY-11 told to enter the block at 190-210.. Tanking time..
Also on Ron's list.. SIDE CAR Canadian NORAD Region (CANR) SOCC, NORTH BAY, Ontario

A lot of commercial flights diverted or holding all around the northeast because of widely scattered but intense storms. REACH-578, coming back from Germany to KMRB, is putting down at Bangor.

Saw him out of Pittsburgh circling up there figured was spare for SPICY flights.. GASMAN is also a Norad callsign.
