Interesting tweet I wanted to share about 255.4
Interesting. I have military planes come up here to VR-840 quite a bit and they always work Bangor radio on 255.4 before entering the route explaining their points, altitude, and speed. (for example - "Bangor radio, SLAM 11 flight of two F15s entering VR-840 from point Alpha to India. 500 feet, 500 knots"). I've heard it as recently as last week. Guess I need to keep an ear out on this and see if 255.4 stops here as well.Interesting tweet I wanted to share about 255.4

WashPost reports flights into and out of Washington-area airports have been “paused” because of problems with comms systems at the TRACON. This comes while I am programming TRACON freqs into my scanner. Guess the testing of my efforts should wait a bit….
WTOP reports: The ground stop had initially impacted all incoming flights, with the exception of those coming in from New York. The FAA later tweeted that flights inbound to the D.C. region from the West Coast, Midwest and Florida had resumed as normal.WashPost reports flights into and out of Washington-area airports have been “paused” because of problems with comms systems at the TRACON. Folks, this thread is for milair reports from the mid-Atlantic.
Donald Trump is no longer the U.S. President. Donald Trump doesn't fly on Air Force 1. To the best of my knowledge, Donald Trump does not fly on military aircraft. Posting reports of his private airplane is off topic for this thread.
