Loos like 3 FLAM tankers for the B-1's up near Nova Scotia.. Funny as didn't see any departure news on them
on the usual Euro boards. Assume with coastal wx again they may go more inland than yesterday.

2240z 269.475 SPICY 21 gets routing from ZBW. Direct IGN-LAAYK-PTW rest of route, unchanged.
Excellent. starting to hear some 341.750 coms weak. That route is Pottstown Pa not too far away :)
1908 local getting stronger chatting about the wx enroute. now on ZNY Milton 269.100 about wx deviating.
SPICY-21 tells ATC we are on a right hand turn to Texarkana.
SPICY-21 push ZNY 306.200 L+C here. Still lots of fuel as one says A/A 134 and the other says 142.
SPICY push 327.600 sounded llike.didn't have that freq yet but nothing heard on it.They are moving fast and gone.

McGuire aircraft today on that 100th Tanker commemoration.. McGuire should get the outstanding large base award for their contribution.
108th Wing Tanker flagship KC-135 in Tiger stripes leads the parade.

A Russian Air Force IL-96 (RA-96018) is currently inbound to IAD from Moscow. Should be landing at around 1p.m.
The call sign is RSD898.

This is the only article I’ve found about the flight, but it is detailed, including a rather indirect route to avoid the EU.

F-22 RAPTOR1 with demo team commander “RaZZ” Larson in the cockpit has departed KMLI (Moline, IL) a few minutes ago and is en route back to Langley after a prolonged stay due to fuel pump issues. There was much talk between the pilots and ground crew about best method for delivery of a replacement pump, including Larson asking if one could be stowed in a jet for delivery to MLI. Not sure about the ultimate resolution, but he is now eastbound and headed home.

Going thru recordings today from the car radio here in Richmond. A couple interesting items:
226.300 - VR-66 is supposed to be defunct, but this sound like someone delivering passengers to Oceana. All I heard was 'master base', but have caught this a few times around 5-5:30pm.
350.05 - "NOBLE 21 radio check Homeplate" - I have this as a W386 freq. Very clear transmission, so I'm assuming around FL 200 on the low end.

Allen, I show 226.3 as VR-56 Globemasters Ops. They are very much active at Oceana.

350.05 is also the Ops freq for the McEntire F-16s.
