Those perfect circles in the vicinity of Hagerstown are generally the flight paths of aircraft testing their surveillance
systems for the spook shop located at that airport. The aircraft are generally light twins or turbos and such flights are common. There are others here who know more about the testing than I do.

Would this be related to the TFR over Camp David?

The "spook shop" at Hagerstown is part of Sierra Nevada Corp who do all kinds of military surveillance systems. They also have an operation at Manassas & NAS Lakehurst.

There is a KC-46 #18-46047 RCH-122 coming in from Iceland dragging somebody at FL 250.
Hi Mark, towing x4 of the Colorado F16s returning from Europe, departed Kef where they diverted to on the 25th, not tracked them back re call signs yet but possibly TREND 31-34, tails confirmed on dept were 86-0277, 86-0365, 86-0367, 87-0336.
Looks like RCH122 slung them free over Vermont.

Guys,

Just reviewing recordings from today. I caught this flight.

1539-1607z 268.300 REACH 122 and TREND 31-34 chatting away on boom freq. Flight to break off.
1602-1607z 282.200 TREND 31 flight check in with ZBW at FL260, we're ready to split off from REACH looking to get routing to KMTC.

255.4

Guys,
The recent postings about the FAA abolishing 255.4 seems to have no effect here in Maine. Again on my recordings I had Barnes F-15 single ship, KILLER 1 working Bangor radio on 255.400 at 1419z requesting VR-840 at point Alpha. Also was working Portland A/D on 299.2 and 269.350 before and after working the VR route. He then climbed out of the route and did a low approach to runway 11 at Portland before heading home to Barnes.

Moral of this story - keep those "old" and "obsolete" freqs in the radios because they will get used. A perfect example of this is the old Portland A/D freq of 381.200 It's been out of use for at least ten years now. I STILL get planes calling Portland on that freq! Another example is ZBW South Acton Maine old freq of 322.400 Same story, every once in awhile I get some bozo calling ZBW on that old obsolete freq! It's amazing but as you all know, they don't update those DoD FLIPs such as IFRSUPPs, etc. very often. The most current USIFRSUPP I have still shows that ZBW freq 322.4 as a discrete along side 285.4 (Oct 2021).

The Michigan A-10's? Tomorrow is Friday end of the Month. Lets see if Boeing can deliver another KC-46 or two.

Tomorrow there will be a Golden Knights jump into Fort Monroe, Hampton, VA, at 1930 local. Neither their C-147A or UV-18C are shown on ADS-B near the area. Any movements I missed? Or are they coming in tomorrow?

I was wondering that too, Mark. Why would CO F-16s go to Selfridge? Wish I were home to try some MI A-10 freqs to catch any A-A.

I did have a couple guys chatting on 246.800 from 1400-1415z today but they didn't sound like fighters. Maybe a couple transports? Again, since I wasn't home, I couldn't verify what was travelling through the area at that time.

Yeah 246.800 sounds like Army Helo Guard A/A freq.. Like Madfox says seems Westbound the ANG folks no matter the type
are hitching tanker rides back home wherever they can find them... :)
