Just a heads up, the 78th session of the UNGA is a few weeks away. There will likely lot of VIP aircraft in the NYC area. High level debate begins on September 19th.

Not sure if related, but the VAQ-209 Star Warriors are at BTV. They've been flying local missions as well. Not sure if they're flying with MA or VT guys.
Ahh, the memories. VAQ-209 used to be based at Andrews. If I remember correctly used callsigns such as VADER, YODA. They were flying EA-6Bs at the time.

Catch any of their A-A frequencies ?
This explains who I heard arriving at BTV yesterday evening. VADER 33/34 - they were using 377.000 for A/A.

Took a long day on the water at KNGU/KNHU Norfolk. Almost got caught by the rain, but I got this CAG bird of VAW-123, E-2C 164486, plus a MH-53E Sea Dragon with minesweeping gear and a HSC-2 color bird.648E83AA-595A-4D86-9C9E-13ED62EC7C7E.jpeg6B524BAB-9FDC-4E47-B311-C8BCFCBF7A14.jpeg

Also, does anyone know the difference between the MH-60s with the wings/pylons and the ones without?7CE7C500-FBEF-43BA-9429-2291C093E606.jpeg

If the MH-60s are the same as the UH-60's, they are just removable stubs to attach external fuel tanks and/ or weapons (small torpedos ?).

Just guessing really, but that is my understanding, although frankly the MH-60s "wings" seem stubbier and go along the fuselage more than a regular UH-60s "wings".

Thanks
Joel

That first McGuire KC-46A delivered was first listed as #21-46057 PUDGY-01 but now seeing as #11-46057
which seems odd cause first flight of KC-46 wasn't till 2015? Maybe Boeing started with old leftover B762 frame from 2011?
Some tracking sites still have as 21-46057 and others 11-46057.Even a few 19-46057.

Live Flight Tracker - Real-Time Flight Tracker Map | Flightradar24

Maybe a typo? I was under the impression the BuNo year was assigned based on the FY it was purchased.

Just got them up here, sounds like they’re heading into the Viper Airspace with the VT F-35s.
I've heard nothing up here in the last 10 minutes for either F-35s or F-22s. 0952- just got a few hits on 259.000 MA ANG.

0957- OMEGA 10 working ZBW09. Advises going to MISTY MOA, says 2 KC-46's coming behind as well. Center advises F-22s in MISTY up to FL220. Also head what sounded like SCREWTOP 31 heading to VIPER and MISTY. Center advises unid that F-22, F-35s, F-18s all working in the area, not sure if they meant MISTY and VIPER or just MISTY.
