Checked LiveATC and acft are using clear voice with Langley tower. So, appears only tac freqs may be encrypted.
They dragged HURON 11-14 from Shaw AFB to Aviano airbase, Italy. F-16s from 4 different units, probably for rework.Overnight around 1 am local a couple tankers eastbound to ROTA.
CAFE-61 KC-46 out of SJ in NC and CAFE-62 KC-46 out of McGuire..
Nothing else heard here but who knows..
No, never........Great cover story, they'd never fly them for intel or targeting reasons.
That was the good ole screech and rush sound of encrypted comms between AWACs and and their players. Fortunately the regular aux channels used for a/a were in the clear. I never wrote them all down. Moving from a Milair dud are to a haven makes my head spin with all the overload lol.I am receiving what appears to be data on 292.3. Is that a data channel?
mdmonitor - jumping on between work meetings, thanks for these.. I noted on ADS-B we seem to have a lot of heavies up, assuming just mid-week equipment moves/shuffles..For those of you with HF monitoring capability the following was posted on another list. It's a list of freqs used by transports & tankers for HF A-A & special acty comms.

Just out of curiosity are you able to hear any of the Giant Killer controllers from your location ?Moving from a Milair dud are to a haven makes my head spin with all the overload lol.
With my current setup (3 handhelds w/RH-77 duckies) I can not hear the ground side. Depending on WX conditions I can hear LangleyTower ground side occasionally. Hopefully within the next month I’ll get my discone setup on my balcony.Just out of curiosity are you able to hear any of the Giant Killer controllers from your location ?
