Was watching a 95th FS squadron vid down in Tyndall Florida aka "The Boneheads"

Interesting long history the 95th FS from New Hampshire to Andrews then Dover AFB in 1963.

Glad to see Tyndall start getting their jets in. Been a long road to recovery.

09:45 EST- 254.200 and 316.300 active in the Viper Airspace (Fort Drum NY area MOAs). I have both of these as NORAD frequencies. Not sure who it is yet ? Nothing heard on VT or MA ANG A-A frequencies. Sounds like a standard ACM excercise.

update - callsigns SHINER and TITAN heard so far (VT ANG F-35s). CAGE 21 appears to be heading that way.

1025- ADS-B showing Langley T-38s (Marlin & Dude) working in W386. I'm not hearing any voice comms but hearing what sounds to me like encrypted bursts on 255.65 which is one of the 7th FS freqs. Note: Over last month or so I've noticed a significant drop in the voice comms I'm hearing on acty out of Langley. I've not heard any F-22s and very little if nothing from the T-38s. Nothing has changed in my antenna locations so I'm thinking that the Langley F-22/T-38s are using some sort of secure comms.

Terry what is AW 701?
AWACS Area 701 - dedicated AWACS orbit

Earlier in February I posted the data on the orbit tracks I had located.

Ron

I have heard similar activity using secure comms in the past on this frequency and others I believe.

I am receiving what appears to be data on 292.3. Is that a data channel?
I just popped that in the Icom and that is secure comms. Could be the F22 or the AWACS.

Almost sounds like P25 obviously not - but someone (ME) did put it in the other ICOM with P25 capability to see if a NAC showed up
