Even though the airport is physically located in Lower Township, it is covered by the Rio Grande post office hence why the mailing address is Rio Grande.

Check Google maps for 08242 and you’ll see the zip code map which covers the airport.
Whats even funnier is all mail locally comes from the Rio Grande Post Office. Even where I live in 08251. The post office in town is a bit small and no delivery carriers are dispatched from there.

Anyone catch the 93rd FS F-16s that came into ACY earlier today? Also had KING 61 C-130 and a RAWHIDE C-2 do a little pattern work too.
It was four Makos (93FS) and four Spads (457FS) from what I heard. One of the Spad birds had '24 FS' text on it where the tail number would be, and all four Makos were the usual with at least one painted with Have Glass.

Sounds like another possible other ANG units transferring F-16's.
The 301FW/24th FS/457th FS Texas is getting new F-35A's so maybe a F-16 tail dump.
The 301FW had their last F-16 deployment in Spring of this past year..

The Makos have some really old mid 80's F-16's as well. Last deployment was 2019 to UK for short visit.
Andrews and A/C getting leftovers? Notice timing at Calanders year ending.. hmm.

Duh - someone back in China probably lost their job over that mistake. NSA operations guys - "they can't be that stupid to use our internet service to communicate back to China".
Actually makes sense for them. US has wide open WiFi/Cells that anything floating overhead can easily make use of it..
Very clever I say.. Keeps costs down without mil satcom giveaway.
A few of our own Govt guys should lose their jobs over this.

However based on the article, the Chinese did not upload the data they were gathering - just position reports. They could have put a transponder on it and turned it on over North America to track it on a free tracking website. They forgot to upload the data that they gathered across the USA and Canada. Since we downed the ballon after it did the complete transit and were able to collect their data, we should now know what they were looking at. Makes you wonder how they were going to obtain the data (without shooting it down themselves) !! Now we know how and why they are doing it....so technically we beat them at their game. Give our intelligence folks a little bit of credit, without the red tape and infighting between agency heads - we probably are pretty good at what we do intelligence wise.
