It doesn't move. Its been appearing and disappearing for the past few days. The first day I noticed it, it was just south of ACY. Appears to be some kind of test.

Warron Grove is active 283.1000. Might be the 104th because I am picking them up on 271.4000.

I wonder if it is a test object for Glare 08 which is operating very close to it. Or if it is an object/target for Noble exercise that seems to be operating.

Gotham 09 trying to raise brickyard but no answer on 237.1500. They have been trying for 5 minutes. They are in bound to McGuire.

Probably support for president and vice president visit to Philadelphia tomorrow.
Speaking of, does anyone have any insight/speculation as far as what aircraft may be involved in the Philadelphia trip tomorrow? I know having both the president and vice president on the same plane is generally frowned upon, but it has happened a few times in recent years. If the VC-25 is planned I'll probably drive up to a spot in NJ across from PHL to get some images.
Okay wild guess. I thought I saw the same call sign preceding a USCG helo landing at KACY (but still trying to re-track that process)
In case that does not pan out - it is probable that the object is an aerostat.
Radarbox is showing as below and is about 10 miles off shore. If the skies clear up over the ocean - I might drive up to Long Beach Island and see if I can spot it. At least there should be no weekend beach traffic !!
I checked the Island Beach State Park live web cam and did not see anything out over the water.

Looks like a sonic boom coming to Cape May, as someone is coming to play, they were showing 0.9M then pushed over 600kts. Hex was showing a P8.

That is ground speed not air speed. Before he went out of range (that direction is my poorest coverage area for now) - he was showing 356kts
