See the RCMP have a low altitude plane PC-12 C-GMPQ circling Ottawa.

I think the USAF should come up with a low altitude security plane like a Beech MC-12 type with nose gun
and anti drone tech gear and a camera pod like the F-16's have. While the go fast jets are above the cloud deck
and take lots of time to get down and chase low targets the MC-12 type would already be down and low to intercept targets.
Just a crazy idea :)

OT but interesting vid of USS T Roosevelt returning San Diego today from Bremerton Wash after 18 month overhaul.
Check out around 41 minute mark where carrier entering Bay channel assume with tide and winds some real swells this ship
is a rockin and rolling a bit :)

2110 local T-Storm moving in here from the NW.. Been a long time since we had one here..
The DE ANG C-130's were talking about it before they did their drops near Atlantic City A/A 343.000

Nothing else heard as yet. AF1 currently working Ottawa Approach on 135.150, landing RWY32.

Just reviewed my CYOW CAP tape on 341.300. The tanker HUSKY 99 advised they were down to 1 UHF radio, mentioned they would try to find a VHF frequency they could use for the Boom, SIDECAR (NORAD) told them they could just do everything on 341.300, so that's what they did. The CF-18 guys were chit chatting about being down in New Orleans last week and that next week said they were going to Tampa for another excercise. Tanker and fighters said they would both be back on CAP duty again Friday on the evening shift. On RTB the fighters said they were to fat on gas to land right away and requested a practice approach in CYOW to burn some gas first.

yow777 or anyone else,

Re: CYOW CAP. All I've heard so far is 341.300 active. Are you getting any other frequencies ?
I'm hearing a Sonic 1 on 364.200 I have it listed as Huntress (AR609) however unconfirmed. I see a Husky98 Flying around Ottawa at the moment, and they also had mentioned Sonic 1 at one point.

Was out this morning, just got back. I see HIFI 21 has taken over CAP tanker from HUSKY 98, sounds like the fighters are SONIC 11-12 now.

1154- 341.300 HIFI 21 telling SIDECAR there is interference on primary boom freq then said switching to 234.700 then corrected it to 364.200.
1200- BAT 11 working SIDECAR on 341.300
1207- SONIC 12 to AR, SONIC 11 has the CAP. Not sure who/what BAT 11 is ?
