Two T-38 Talons out of Langley Air Force Base are in transit over Southern Ohio this morning as they head into Indianapolis.

The aircraft are........

MG 01 T-38 Talon #68-8177
MG 02 T-38 Talon #67-14923

The aircraft are using 255.650 MHz for air to air communications.
They are also working ATC with Indianapolis Center ARTCC (ZID) Sector 34 Shelbyville on 350.225 MHz

Just landed on at GYY (Gary) at 1340 Eastern.

Edit: I lied looks like touch and go's at the moment.

I see now ROMA 11 was probably sent to pick up the TREND flight of USMC F-35s that were in KEF.

1437 UTC- ROMA 01 with TREND 65 checking on with Gander
I caught this flight on recording today as I was out running errands. Here's my logs:

1630z 258.000 ROMA 11 and TREND 61 flight on boom freq. ROMA tells TRENDs to switch to 343.100 for their last AR.
1646z 309.800 TREND 61 flight A-A
1647z 343.100 ROMA 11 and TREND 61 flight start their final AR. ROMA asked how much TREND wanted and they said, "top off".

A guy in NH was able to catch them passing over as they started their AR. He posted a fantastic picture. Credit to John Adams Photography.

Local NC ANG Apache helos, callsign ZEUS11 - ZEUS15, did flyover at UNC Chapel Hill, unfortunately couldn't catch the A-A but caught them leaving and returning RDU where the base is.

From the article, “the command has temporarily grounded all aviation assets on Fort Carson until further notice”, fortunately NC ANG isn't under that command.
