1520 Local: I have noticed lately that the Pack KC-46's have been traveling and working west of Tampa lately. Today Pack41 is working with Shinr40. Shinr40 a RC135 might be testing it's systems since it is flying out of Majors Field, TX. Also Jiggs01 AE58B1, which I believe to be a B52 is in the area.

Busy weekend ahead for POTUS and AF1, Saturday and Sunday in ATL, then Detroit Sunday before heading to PHL and onto Wilmington for the 19-20th. Looks like a possible return to the White House on the 20th and then heads up north to Boston and Merrimack NH (or vice versa) on Tuesday.

See a French A332 CTM-1011departing Vancouver prob bound for New Caledonia down the Pacific that France has declared an emergency.
Strange that France Mil always stops way up that way to and from Pacific and France..

Haven't heard of New Caledonia since old McCales Navy TV show :)
Here comes another France Mil pax/cargo special to Vancouver CTM-1012..
CTM1012 Air Support and Projection Brigade Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware

Excited that Seymour Johnson is on the list :)
It used to be in a similar situation, they had F-15Es and KC-10s, and was the lead wing for at least AEF 3 and AEF 4 (the experimental ones to see if it would work).

There was a reason (actually several) the AF got away from the concept. But everyone has to try and reinvent the old to see if they can make it work better.

Thanks
Joel

Was down at Dover yesterday for arrivals. There were 3 F15s from the Bayou Militia....first two came in around 1130 using callsign SAINT then the demo bird using GUMBO around mid afternoon. Along w the B52, there was a KC135, 2 C130s (1 was new DE tail), KC-46, the F35 demo team, a few civis, qnd also had a surprise from 2 SJ F-15Es that came in but missed their callsign.

VR-64’s new tail art, courtesy of Shayne Meder.
That is impressive. I presume the rest of the squadron will have the same tail art that I used to see at Willow Grove.

Not enough time (any direction on central NJ helo freq's would be appreciated) to catch them on the radio, but just had a a flight of two CH-53 Super Stallions (showing as "HUSTLR61" #163547 on ads-b) fly over the house at about 1000' agl. Looks like they took off from McGuire, headed out to the coast and up the Hudson and back... Nice wake-up call for a Friday afternoon.
