1115- Lucky 31 working Giantkiller (249.8) requesting clearance back to Seymour-Johnson.

1120- Tiger 21 (lots of choices) working Giantkiller (238.1) requesting exit W386 and RTB to Cherry Point. Xmitter sounds like F-35.

1125- Flt of 4 (call sounds like Flyer) working ZDC Cape Charles (236.825) & Tiger 21 also working Cape Charles.

Godspeed Butch and Suni, launch was perfect and on time, they have passed the first abort location in Newfoundland and are about to enter orbit. Good to see.

It was disappointing to see the problem with the ground launch sequencer computer that scrubbed Saturday's launch attempt dramatically described as "yet another setback for the troubled aerospace company" - when in fact that issue would have scrubbed any launch and had nothing to do with the fact it was Starliner :cautious:

Here's 92-9000/Air Force One at 24,325 feet, 480 knots over NJ en route to France this evening. Since he was that high and fast - not to mention 16 miles way in darkness - I'm very surprised this photo rather clearly depicts the scene...

As a retired newspaper man who started out as a staff photographer and then photo editor, I recognize this photo as being excellent and very hard to get (find) at that altitude. There's nothing that could be done with the blue cast, that's just normal.

Love Nikon fast lenses, using Nikon since my first F-2, I also use the oldest Adobe Photoshop version that will work on my computer, you can do everything manual, the detail in your photo is excellent!

Looks like some of the 177th FW is spending some time in Hawaii, presumably operating out of Hickam . A week or two ago the 2x C-130s and 1x C-17 made the flight from Atlantic City to Hawaii to support their presence. I don’t recall seeing any posts about the F-16s on the move, nor did I see any tanker activity that would indicate that.

Guys

Local news doing piece on upcoming Fleet Week, June 12-18 in Baltimore. Mentioned that US Navy F-35 Demo Team will be here as well as B-25 "Pancito". Reported indicated acft will operate out of Martin State.
Rgr Ron nice long week in area with that schedule then off to Californy.
I'm guessing they are based at Lemoore NAS?

June 8-9: Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo - Chesterfield, MO
June 12-18: Maryland Fleet Week & Fly Over Baltimore - Baltimore, MD
July 13-14: California Capitol Airshow - Mather Airport, Sacramento, CA
July 22-28: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh - Oshkosh, WI

It's the F-35B Demo Team which I'd assume is from a local squad like Cherry Point but I could be wrong.
