Can't wait to here the boom talk if / when the AF gets these things. We hear here how much training aircraft dedicated to refueling do. Now mix in a bunch of different possible tanker/receiver combinations and the comms could get interesting in a few years.

Thanks
Joel

TREK-01 #94-6705 leading TREK-02 #94-6708 Del ANG C-130H's 166th AW back home from Dyess Texas.
Seems TREK-02 went down there around July 31 and guess they picked her up today.
Maybe new paint job and other stuff?

1812 local SCORE-90 MQ-4C at FL-50k scratchy with GK 238.100 mentions doing one last leg before transition to the South.

1815- Score 90 (MQ-4 VX-20) advising Giantkiller (238.1) they are turning south to run one more test point at FL500. After that they want the DelMarva approach to PAX. DelMarva approach is from Norfolk due north along the centerline of the Chesapeake Bay into PAX.

1820- VC-25 # 82-8000 on approach to ADW & VC-25 # 92-900 not far behind inbound ADW.

McGuire’s newest KC-46 (21-46093) is down there working in the same area, ARRIS25.
Just noticed that. ARRIS is normally Edwards AFB test callsign.. I guess USAF wanted crack at the GAF A-400M with a KC-46A. :)
Copying ARRIS on 355.800 Pax River as well. Talking with a SCORE-14 as well about dumping fuel.
Also SCORE-14 on 313.700 VX-20 Pax discrete.

Hard core A-10 pilot. :)

Has anyone heard any progress updates on the Navy's MQ-25 Stingray refueling drones? I haven't really heard anything since Boeing did first flights out of KBLV in 2019.

Two HMX-1 MV-22s just made a noisy arrival at KILG at 9:30am EDT. I'm probably heading up to PHL to photograph Air Force One this early evening - my opportunities for such are coming to a close...
