2139 - COAST GUARD RESCUE 6024 on scene of an incident at the VB waterfront along with VBPD and surface units. A-A is 123.025 - old helitack freq/helo common.

Watching from hotel balcony. Fire dept has drone at 50 ft. VB chopper N911VB was circling at 800 then 500 ft. He just returned to base. Comms on Marine 156.8 and 157.1 (22A). Rescue comms on VB FD TAC 3. Total of three persons in water. One was rescued quickly suffering cardiac arrest and was given CPR then transported. Two Hispanic males in their twenty's are still missing. Initial incident originated at 17th Street boardwalk area. Multiple boats police and fire searching as well as people on ATVs looking from shore.

Rip currents today. My wife heard a guy scream for help earlier today from the balcony and was rescued right away in front of the hotel. He was lucky!

Maybe off topic but Ukrainian president Zelenskyy will be visiting Scranton today. I don't see a TFR and there is no info as to when or how he will get here. Does anyone know if there is a standard Ukraine Air Force 1 type plane? It seems like he uses different planes. Also I am unsure if he would land at KAVP and motorcade to the plant in downtown? I have to be in the area today so I am trying to avoid the chaos! lol

Sorry I missed it, but it was time off for me. Well, if you consider "off" to be shooting nearly 1500 photos between Thursday and yesterday at NAS Oceana. I drove straight from the flight line home last evening, arriving around 7pm and just in time to have VENUS68/C-40 fly low alongside me to my left on the final mile or two heading north on 9 before he banked away on final approach to KILG.

Two ex EC-130J's from 193rd SOW 96-8153 & 99-1933 transferred to the 154th Training Squadron Little Rock AFB.

The only ex EC-130 airframe that I show still left is 97-1931 with the 193rd. But it flew on 9/16/24 to Hurlburt Field and has not returned yet.

Little Rock must be massive C-130 training center.. When MD ANG lost their 8 C-130J's some years ago they all went to
Little Rock to become trainers..

Yes pretty sure it’s CBP. There’s at least 3 CBP helicopters at MacArthur or Farmingdale for UNGA. They’ve been flying up and down the Hudson and East River for the past week or so.

They use different routes at times up and back.. This morning NOBLE-21 first popped up here
on ZDC Modena 307.250. Sometimes they go home inland and sometimes offshore.

The ALTRV for the A-10s from Pease ANGB to Rota NAS tomorrow starts at 0848Z,
which could probably indicate an 0800Z departure .... 0400AM local time ?

I don't have any recent confirmed VHF or UHF air-to-air frequencies for these guys,
but this is from their 2018 IFG, maybe it's worth monitoring those ......
