1520- Empire-11 flt (F/A-18E/F, VFA-106, Oceana NAS VA) working ZDC Cape Charles (236.825)>ZDC Sea Isle (285.4).

Was looking into it and my friend got a picture and I listened to liveatc feed "EMIRE11 FLIGHT" looks like they went to Teterboro, makes me happy but I have no clue what they are there for
(if anybody has more info on what they are there for would love to know so i could catch them)

From Live ATC Archives 1930Z-2000Z

19:54 EMPIRE11 checks in and gets cleared to land 06 with signature east
22:10 EMPIRE11 asking if they can use the runway full length
23:23 tower empire11 turn right to signature east remain on frequency welcome

Nice follow up.. Thanks.. Sometimes on Friday weekends some F/18's from Oceana make practice individual weekend
training trips to various local locations for just that.
Some years ago had F/18E land KILG park at Atlantic Aviation on Friday afternoon and pilot was off in a car to see friends and relatives.
They usually return Oceana on Sunday afternoons.. Never hear USAF fighters do this but common Navy training practice to borrow the car
so to speak for temp weekend duty.. Keeps them sharp! :)

I was getting my kid at the bus stop around 1545 and heard them. No idea at the time who but they were low and loud and I knew it was some sort of fighter. It was cloudy with rain, so no visual. I'm west of TTN.

Maybe they are up there for a flyover?......JETS game at home on Sunday. Pretty sure they staged out of there before for other flyovers.

Seems like normal Shaw CAP folks up this morning down the beach way.
NOBLE-11,12 A/A 270.900 with SWATH-21 tanker #60-0360 from MacDill.

No new C-40's for Andrews yet but always next year...

SWATH-22 up on A/R 247.500.. Earlier one of the Noble's said to other. Hey we can all get together next weekend as we
are all off. Last CAP for these guys come Monday. See who gets it next. NOBLE's 21,22 A/A 314.100.
SWATH-21 was bingo on any more fuel deliveries so NOBLE-11,12 had to top off with SWATH-22 before rtb.
