1500 local NOBLE-21 tells tanker "Thanks for our last Noble Eagle flight"
Tanker replies "SEE YA!"
1505 NOBLE-21 flight with ZDC 360.700 headed home to 79th FS at Shaw... Must have went down the Ches Bay to rtb.
Who will be next up in October? PLace your bets..
So far this year we had the Florida MAKOS then Colorado 120th FS F-16's and the 79th FS at Shaw.

I have no accurate guess for WHO it will be, I'm just hoping that whichever squadron it is will stage out of AC like the Makos did. I really enjoyed watching those pre-sunrise takeoffs with the burner lit! I'd imagine this will be the last rotation?

It's that time of the year again in Virginia Beach for the Tier 1 exercise out of Dam Neck - first week of October is just around the corner and I've seen footage of the usual 160th SOAR birds and CCM craft. Not much in the way of radio monitoring - SINCGARS and frequency hopping most likely.

My long shot guess was the 149th FW out of San Antonio who still have F-16's
and used to fly up here every year some years ago for the Dover Nascar race flyover for about 5 years running.
Coincidently a C-17 from San Antone RIDER-93 landing Dover now but offloads didn't sound like much except L-Sat dish.
Keep an eye out for National Guard cargo planes into Langley or A/C etc.
Checking tail numbers online all these aircraft are from Arizona including the Jolly Green II choppers.
The HC-130J's KINGs are from 79th RQS Davis Monthan and assume the USAF Jollys as well.
One of the 4 Hawk choppers detailed here. All landing McGhee Tyson KTYS which is not too far from the action.
Some serious long distance help there.

The visit last week to Scranton had nothing to due with politics, it was for the funeral of a life long friend.
Well aware. But the other political visits and commercials are absolutely out of control.
And I agree with them completely!
