#82-8000 enoute NYC for pickup.. talking to someone on the old 89th AW A/A 292.800.
Maybe talking to 92-9000 on ground up there? #82-8000 seems to be spinning up there maybe as backup?
Interesting track

20:39 EDT AF1 is rolling for takeoff....from KJFK
20:41 EDT now airborne

This is essentially a 1-1 copy of one I got a photo of in a cockpit - numbers have been checked. The photo is blurry but clear enough to ID freqs. Bottom right cell was blank on the card. HM-12 insignia on the top - their base freq is notably absent. Do you have any from the HSC sqdns?

Oh, so preset cards then, but not quite an inflight guide. That’s about the same as I have. Would love to get my hands on a legitimate IFG with procedural items and local area diagrams.

Attached are HSC-7 presets. That’s the only Norfolk HSC squadron card I’ve been able to get in the past few years. Also an HM-14 card from the same year.

Does anyone have up-to-date freqs for KNGU Chambers Field/ NAS Norfolk? I've been reorganizing my mess of a scanner and realized I've got 5 tower frequencies, or things like that.

Additionally, has anyone picked up base freqs for VAW squadrons (120, 121, 123, 124, 126), VRC-40, the new VRM-40, or HSCs 11, 9, or 5?I've been trying but it's a bit difficult without a SDR.

See the preset cards for current ATC freqs. Chambers has a heliport and an airport, so there are more tower freqs than usual.

Some of these base freqs are confirmed within the past year or two, some of the others I caught myself back in 2018. Missing a few and need confirmation on others.

328.300 VAW-120 Base
300.500 VAW-121 Base
258.900 VAW-123 Base
281.700 VAW-124 Base?
(need VAW-126 Base)
262.900 VRC-40 Base
(need VRM-40 Base)
348.250 HSC-5 Base
289.475 HSC-9 Base?
360.275 HSC-11 Base

My USN/USMC list is the most up-to-date, if you bookmark the link.

Also looks like a Barksdale Buff headed for Miramar MCAS airshow coming up this weekend.
I'm sure Navy/Marine folks will enjoy that on display :)
