The U.S. Navy has found the wreckage of a fighter jet that crashed in Washington state during routine training.

AF2 99-0003 departed Trenton and is headed to Milwaukee. Noticing something new today, a support C-32 is following AF2 now, followed to TTN and now departed as SAM246 and seems to be following AF2 to Milwaukee.

Check out LiveATC for Airport KNTU for archives between 0630 and 0730 UTC this morning. Navy PE805 last requested descend to 35K during the 0630-0700 UTC radio archive...then at 0700-0730 UTC archive Giantkiller repeatedly calls Navy PE805 without a response.

So either loss of communications or loss of communications due to loss of airframe. Not sure if the UAV is like the recreational ones and returns home if contact with ground station is lost.

Usually Stratcom on B-2 missions will mention if they did non stop round robin trip from US on this.
Thinking they may have launched out of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean perhaps.
