AR-20 Eastbound is hot late tonight 0315z-0615z FL-150-270.
Those parameters suggest a BTF Global Thunder mission. Just a WAG says they go to North Sea area
and do photo op flying over the USS Harry Truman with NATO fighter/Navy escorts... A nice wish anyway.
Prob Barksdale Buffs but overdue for some Dyess B-1's. Keep ear tonight on 341.750 :)
Looks like flight will rtb 12 hours or so later.. An AR-20 West Res with same numbers just went up.
AR-20W 1800z-2130z FL-150-270.. Maybe is a photo op :)

There is a DRAGO-51 C-5M off Dover headed for DC.. Wash football game scheduled at 4PM.

Tanker 33 is #59-1500 Illinois ANG so maybe burning some fuel also before heading home.
Not hearing any CAP activity on radio.

Checked recordings, last Barnes A/A I copied was on 264.85 at 1342 local, was investigating which is when I took the screen grab but then got derailed making a dash to get ready for the game at 4.

Good evening Mark and all,

It's indeed a Global Power mission from Barksdale AFB to Europe for the Steadfast Noon exercise.
Tankers are probably DEED xx, DEED 12 (18-46055) arrived yesterday at Pease ANGB.

These are the confirmed Barksdale B-52 interplanes:

DRAGO-51 C-5M back inbound Dover from Andrews crew of 12.
They prob got trans to game from Andrews and they usually honor the crews at
or just after half time.. Same deal the Marine and Navy pilots got at Annapolis Saturday after flyover.
Sometimes they stick around but other times just rtb and get home.

Barksdale shows a Buff now climbing up #61-0006. unlike recent B-2 mission they want
everyone to see them show off :)

As of 0315Z that BUFF is still working over Louisiana. Don’t see any east coast tankers up yet…
Yeah saw the one circling.. Maybe a spare? I was dog tired and couldn't keep my eyes open so called it a night.
Checking tape seems at 2350 local had STORM-11 flight of two with ZNY 322.400 blocking 270-280.
Looking at replay 0400z tanker DEED-11 #21-46060 climbing up NE from McGuire then few hours later rtb McGuire.

13:00 STORM11/2 (Barksdale buffs) with Swanwick Mil 278.550 meeting LAGER 73/4 (KC-135s out of Mildenhall) for gas. AR primary 360.825
(no idea if there are any online recievers which would cover their location nowadays with the slow demise of globaltuners and proliferation of amateur/HF only web-based receivers)
