Has anyone else noticed that McConnell KC-46's have been operating out of Pope and Seymour Johnson? They have been doing this over the past 2 weeks. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I have noticed as well. I figured between Shaw, Seymour, Beaufort, Cherry Point and McEntire maybe it’s giving the booms opportunities to certify on the various aircraft. Not a ton of fighters around Kansas. They’ve been working the Gamecock A MOA southeast of Pope and the Burner within Pamlico MOAs.

Looks like they are practicing ACE (Agile Combat Employment). This is happening more often now to prepare aircrew to operate from unfamiliar environment.

Recently a new KC-46 Pegasus Expeditionary Squadron was established in the CENTCOM AOR. ACE and other enhanced tactical operations are conducted daily not only in the CENTCOM AOR. I would not be surprised to see McConnell KC-46' going for deployment in the near future (could be PACCOM aswell).

ROMA-61 McGuire #21-46087 departed McGuire headed Northeast at fairly low altitude so far
enroute Pease AFB.
About to land at the Hall having dragged TRENDs over to the Heath. TREND should be three F-35s as temporary 'loan' until new build F-35s are cleared for active duty at which point 48FW should get thosde.

Three WA (48FW pilots though) F-35s landed at Lakenheath. Tanker diverting back up to Prestwick due to 'illegal drone activity around lakenheath and Mildenhall' They wanted Fairford for divert but that won't be open until mid morning for the next Buff mission (assuming they have worked out how to de-ice the runway now).

Two prop planes flew extremely low and fast over my house around 5:40 pm near Chambersburg Pa within seconds of each other. Anyone able to go back and check for aircraft? I was actually shaking because I thought they were gonna crash nearby. It reminded me of two P-51s doing a low sneak pass lol. I checked two flight trackers with no luck.

Sounds like civilian aircraft not milair which is what we concentrate on here.

Franklin Co is a big county ant it would be difficult to know where to look, even if we weren't busy with milair. Try looking on ADSB Exchange, but probably weren't squawking.
