Two prop planes flew extremely low and fast over my house around 5:40 pm near Chambersburg Pa within seconds of each other. Anyone able to go back and check for aircraft? I was actually shaking because I thought they were gonna crash nearby. It reminded me of two P-51s doing a low sneak pass lol. I checked two flight trackers with no luck.
There was MC-130J one showing earlier today out of Harrisburg buzzing around your area at 1700z but they may have come back later with
mode s off and a second tail for another turn later say 2245z. You never know with Special Ops guys like them. See them one time then next ZIPPO.. LOL

That was FORGE80 today and they went to KMRB for T&G then returned to KMDT. 22-5989 ZIPPO21 and 21-5965 ZIPPO22 are now showing on ADSb T&G at KMDT. They have been doing a lot of low level departs. Last night Zippo71 21-5965 did the same thing and then showed up at ACY.

That #22-5989 is a new one for the 193rd SOW..Maybe breaking her in.In August was logged working test out of Marietta Ga as LAC5989.
It probably was both of them on that low level evening loop :)

Brought back the paradrops also to the 193SOW. Won't be too long before they head to Hurlburt Field for some advanced work.

"The 193 SOW is the first, and currently the only Air National Guard unit to receive the Commando II mission, a flagship mission of Air Force Special Operations Command."

I am fortunate that my sister lives close by and I have a radio setup at her house and can listen in. KMDT live atc has been down now for a couple of days now.

Seems Marines at Cherry Point have stood up a MQ-9A Reaper Training squadron VMUT-2.
Same medium range type model that has been shot down 4 times recently in Persian Gulf area.

The larger Navy MQ-4C Triton flies higher and much longer distances..
The NY ANG 174th AW flies the same model MQ-9a as well.Doubles as Stateside National Guard Forest fire tracker.

The 159th FW F-15s arrived this evening at Natal airbase [SBNT] in Brazil as SKYCAM 11 flight.
RCH058 (60-0313) dropped them off at PUDLA and then returned to Henry E. Rohlsen Airport [TISX].
Comms with Recife center: SKYCAM 11 - 2 November 2024

Flying time from Louisiana just over 8 hours, this was their routing:

I sure didn't think it sounded like C-130s but with the mountains around me and the rain, maybe it changed the acoustics 😄.
With the new props on the C-130’s (6 bladed and 8 bladed props) the “ole herk” just does not sound the same going overhead!
Working on them over 20+ years they just do not sound the same. In the past I could be out working in the yard and hear the familiar “drone” of the herk going overhead. Not anymore, I can lookup and see the “Herk” then run inside to check ADSB exchange or Flight Radar 24 to verify my visual sighting.
