Thanks for the kind words about my mom. It was a long week for my brother and me staying at her place outside Philadelphia, but thankfully her passing was about as peaceful as you could hope for. Now we've got a ton of red tape and stuff to deal with, but looking forward to getting back to chasing aircraft ;) Meanwhile - I was home this weekend so after the flyover earlier I took a drive over to KILG at halftime of the Eagles game to see if our visitors were still on hand, and there they were hanging with the 166th Airlift Wing C-130s. I have not heard anything since so I'd assume they are still there - perhaps an overnight visit?

Love their paint job. Like something right out of the movie "Top Gun".

0830- Couple of KC-135s off DOV heading west. Heard Reach 011 flt working ZDC Baltimore (134.5) requesting block FL240-260. Hearing some A2A chat on 388.4. Might be the Reach 011 flt.
The word I heard was they're dragging a few AK F-22s back to PAED, although I never picked up comms to verify that myself. Saw both tankers Saturday afternoon as they dropped down into DOV.

You might be right. After leaving DOV they went southwest to the Richmond area (maybe to meet up with the F-22s) then they turned northwest. Maybe the F-22s were at Langley? Around the time this was all taking place, I hear someone on ZDC Flat Rock (235.625). Could've been them.

That would make sense. Over a month ago at this point, some of those F-22s passed through via Langley after the tankers dropped them around Long Island.

Fox reports the political pressure in NJ is building to have DOD fess up on what they know about the car-sized drones that seemingly intrude over defense installations and civilian neighborhoods at will. They were up again last night. Governors, mayors, etc. demanding full disclosure. To my recollection, there hasn't been such an un-countered intrusion on US airspace since 9-11. Chinese balloons don't count.

Yes, you are right.

RCH011 flight joined up with TABOR 27 and TABOR 28 out of Langley AFB and
they are enroute to Elmendorf AFB, on ALTRV Coronet East 013.

Just caught JF405 (JASDF 14-3611) turning for final approach to Runway 24 on KWRI Approach (126.475), long flight from Japan.
Checking my tape from today JAF-405 sure sounded like US pilot/co-pilot inbound McGuire with 14 crew
on the CP freq.Plane is only about 3 years old KC-46A #14-3611. Seems Japan ordered 6 of these.
Maybe will hang around McGuire and get some East coast tanker training?

Couple TEAL 53rd Weather Recon C-130J's headed down into the Carib area.
End of hurricane season so they usually have a crew party down there every year.
They put some miles on this past year for sure.

305th AMW at McGuire sure didn't waste any time uploading pictures of that Japanese KC-46 that arrived this morning.

"The #CanDo Wing welcomes members of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) who are visiting to engage in interoperability training and ground academics with KC-46A units as a part of a subject matter expert exchange.
This collaboration aims to enhance operational cohesion, share best practices, and strengthen the U.S.-Japan partnership in support of regional and global stability."
