Im totally Curious ... I live near the heliport for wellington county and when the medflights come in i get them contacting CACC on 3 different channels any idea whats up with that, or is it just cause they are air units ?

I believe the three frequencies used by air ambulances would be MOH aero band 129.275,
PCOMM 150.100, and where available, MEDCOM UHF 418.6875/413.6875. TAFL shows
MEDCOM licensed in London, Windsor, Ottawa, Toronto, Kenora and other places. Interesting
to note the aircraft TX ERP is 5W (7dBW) which goes to show how little is needed from
up there.
