Possibly Middletown PD changing to County with this change??
Yes, once the new tower is on-line, I was told the switch will be made to 700 MHz.
On the county side, most of the site hardware and electronics is in so construction could be starting soon. However, the funds are still "up in the air" for Middletown's subscriber units. My guess in mid to late 2024.
How about the fire departments in Middletown Twp? Will they be going 700?
Yes all Twp departments will be migrating over at some point. PD to go first. Then followed by FD. I suspect FD to go in 2025ish.

I do not recall seeing a tower over there by the park. Are they erecting a tower too?
Its an existing 150 ft radio tower that was constructed about 1993/94 after the original 100 ft tower bent in half in the 1992 Nor'easter storm. It was refurbed in 2014. This site does well since the ground elevation is about 250 ft ASL.

Rich, what's very weird is none of these have secure hits!
What's really weird is TGID 14021 is an ID after Fire Events 3, in the FIRE category, so I wonder if that could have something to do with it, same as how 8013 is right after 8012 which is a PD Detective TG. 9507 is just odd as its right after a ASPCA TG and the ID that affiliated on there has also affiliated on the Neptune OEM TG previously...

TG 33 was non- E last year, It is a detective/surveillance channel for the asbury/neptune area, assuming it is now E

38-66 responds on Fire Central... or is supposed to...
That could have been what I heard. Mutual aid, perhaps as a result of the storm? Copied this morning from Philadelphia.
