Hi everyone. Hope you're ready for summer. Does everyone know if Monoc Contol in Monmouth County switch frequency or system. There's no info or update in the Database. I haven't monitored in a while. So, yesterday I paid a listen & heard nothing. Maybe it's my scanner or did they ditch their system & moved to some crazy digital-trunk HOPEFULLY NOT ENCRYPTED system. Thanks in advance. As always, happy monitoring. God Bless and all the Best. 73's

MONOC remains on their same channels (MED-9, MED-10, etc.) they were at one point testing the NJICS but I don't think anything came of it as of yet.

Man that was a quick response! Thanks I appreciate it. I'm aware of the testing on the NJICS a few months ago. Not sure what's going on? Keep on monitoring. Again thanks mcradio72.

Okay, normal radio activity on Monoc Control. That was very strange yesterday I monitored for about an hour without hearing a single piece of radio traffic. I'm monitoring as I'm typing this. It appears the Control is having problems with hearing some of the units. They may have problems with the system. Well, happy monitoring. 73's

MONOC is investigating as couple of systems down the road to switch to and one of them being the
PSIC system. This is still many months away and there is no plans for them to go to an ENCRYPTED
system which hardly makes any sense in the EMS world where its bad enough that most times the
AVL and other computer systems fail to work.

It did sound like they had more radio problem then usual when I was monitoring last night. I remember a Uhf band opening a number of months ago that caused some craziness on Med 9. Thanks a lot for the info. I'm going to say to be continued on this one. Have a great summer to all. 73's
