Does anyone know if the talk groups are actually programmed in the radios as: MUN PD 1, MUN EMS 1, MUN FIRE 1 etc.? I am curious to know what shows up on the MIRS radios display.

MUNPD1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

County:

Inter-op Channles:

M.I.R.S.-1
MIRS-FIRE1, 2, 3, 4
MIRS-EMS1, 2, 3, 4
MIRS-PD1, 2, 3, 4
MIOP-1, 2, 3, 4

It all depends on when the radios were programmed. MIFD1, 2, 3 etc is what is in most older users radios.

I'll second that, and should have clarified.... The above descriptions are how they are labeled on the physical CENTRACOM consoles at the County. Depending on who programed the radio there are slight variations.
