I'm just bought a used Kenwood TK-805D for use on the GMRS service (license coming). I would like to adapt the mic to fit a motorcycle headset. I know I can get a Kenwood 2 mini plug cable. Is there a ready-made adapter or am I going to have to make one for a headset? My current headset is a Midland two plug setup., AVP-H1

Also any good suggestions for a UHF antenna for a motorcycle? Probably mount on rear trunk (plastic).

I don't know what either of the connectors you are talking about are, but they shouldn't be too hard to change. You'd need to know the 'pi-outs', but that shouldn't be too difficult to find. As far as an adaptor from one to the other, that depends on how long both types of connectors have been around. If they are 'new' then finding such an adaptor isn't going to be very easy.
Good luck.
