TG 13259-Clare City Fire Rescue was paged out on a call. Other talkgroups I've been keeping an eye on for Clare County paging are 13258 and 13260. Heard on the Lake tower (Formerly known as Phelps).

TG-22433 Listed as Ann Arbor Fire Station #2 Paging. This station has been closed for some time now. I often see this TG used when the BC is also going on the run. I'd like to see it a few more times to verify, but I believe this TG is being used to alert the AAFD BC. Maybe someone else has noticed this as well?

I've been monitoring the MPSCS on the Mio tower for a year now and been noticing some talkgroups that are unknown. Ive done some searching but came up with nothing. I have been getting a lot of hits off of this TG-5459. I dont know if it was a come and go situation from a special training session. I believe all the traffic was partially encrypted. Some in the clear and most not. Some TG-5462 hits also

Hello MPSCS people! I'm trying to help diagnose an issue with Unitrunker 2 wrt natively outputting intelligible voice when monitoring the Grayling site. Note that I am not in Michigan, nor am I familiar with the MPSCS system beyond the basics, so please take it easy on me. A user states that he is monitoring the site from about 4 miles away. He also states that this is not a simulcast site, and the site uses C4FM modulation. According to RRDB data, the site uses CQPSK modulation which is typically used by simulcast sites. Is the RRDB data accurate? Are there more tower sites / FCC licenses for the Grayling site than what are referenced in the RRDB?

I just got a hit on control 853.375 Mio MPSCS TG-5394 and TG-5395 There was a late clear call on 5395 and I didn't get to catch any voice but there's lots of affiliations and no record of this talk group anywhere on RR.

4196 is currently called Beaver Creek Township Fire Tac. Based on recent traffic at a structure fire, it sounds like the official tag should be 20SPEV1.

Heard bits and pieces through affiliated radio TG-1010 G-Event01. Talking to Atlanta Garage, possibly Dept of agriculture. Heard a female officer calling off head of cattle and talking about cattle running loose and calling off tag number. It was cut off possibly because radio de-affiliated. Then I heard possibly a tech calling out "Doin a test on G" and that was it. All in clear.

Maybe, She said "We have a total of 24 animals today. 8 bulls, 15 cows, 1 calf, and then we have the oooonnnnneeee incident that they are working on currently, which gives us a grand total of 25"
at the conclusion of the transmission she said they were closing up shop today and to have a great evening to the dispatcher.

I wonder if that is related to this article.

There's not enough information that I got from the recording but it does sound like it could be related.

During the fire season TG-4018 becomes very active. I think its DNR Fireground but I'm not finding any listing for what it is. I remember hearing a ground and air crew locating smoke and sending ground crews there. Calling off areas by coordinates.

I heard a different portion of the conversation than cyberwolf, but they did say elk at one point, and that there was one place 'to the north' they had to go but wanted Law to be there first. I think CW heard more than I did.

I have 4018 written down as DNR07 - DNR District 7 Dispatch. Which doesn't make sense to me, should be district 5. Typo maybe, or old database information??? Listening to some traffic this week, I heard several references to it being called "DNR 5"

They do make it sound like DNR-5. They always call out station 20 on DNR 5 and some station 70. Station 20 has multiple dispatchers.

A few years ago they renumbered the DNR districts and changed the coverage areas. Most of what used to be the seventh district is the fifth. I don't know if all of the talkgroups changed then, but some did.
