TG 3345-Lake County Fire units 700 and 701 heard doing traffic control. Lake County got a radar-estimated 8-10 inches of rain yesterday.
The only other time I've heard this TG, Lake County Central was talking to Reed City Fire.
Heard on the Chase tower.

Caught another transmission:
1331578- Can I have you check ramp Juliet one zero?
1331786- Roger, checking ramp Juliet one zero.

TG 1819 is definitely military police or security.
About 20 minutes ago RID 1331782 was approaching a vehicle to conduct a search. Requested back up and they wanted to search the trunk.

Yes but the #33#### (Ingham County) numbering means it's a state agency (e.g. Michigan Army National Guard) and being on the Lapeer Co system probably means it's probably the Lapeer Armory (the only military installation in Lapeer Co), that's why you keep hearing them say armory. Sounds like it's ready to be submitted to the DB. :)

It's just odd, I don't recall hearing this TG before and today it's busy as heck like there's an event going on (where at IDK).
Now they're calling out " a BOLO for a Red Mazda driving away from OE 254" and now they have that vehicle stopped at "Pentagon".

Maybe they just joined MPSCS recently (they could've used conventional radios before). They could also be doing a training exercise too, who knows. I put it in my Pro 106 but my reception of the Lapeer Co system sucks here at home.

Is this a big place cause they just arrested two people that were in a BOLO vehicle and now a car supposedly hit a humvee while parking and they're going to check on that.

They just sent two people to "The PMO" to interview the people arrested.

It’s a long shot, but there is a mini Pentagon at the Fort Custer Training center. Also heavy MPSCS use on base. Maybe someone in your area monitoring the talk group? I can try and throw it in my radio tomorrow and have a listen.

Yeah, pop it in there the TG is still active.
Could building 2420 , ramp juliet 10, or PMO apply to anything at Fort Custer?
Also they just sent someone to the DOC.

I think you nailed it. The Fort Custer Training Center has a week long event going on now. Web site said cadets arrived yesterday and there is a graduation on the 27th.

Traffic on TG 1819 sounds like military police and transmissions indicate there are a lot of people there. There's concern someone was snuck on base and they're interviewing a driver of the car that might have brought them in (was hiding in the trunk).

I've only seen traffic on the Lapeer system. I checked Genesee simulcast, Holly, and Lakeville sites and it's not coming up on those. For some reason traffic is being pulled to Lapeer simulcast system.

Thanks for your help.

No problem, happy to help! If my two year old ever goes to bed, I might even be able to take a gander tonight. I’m only a few miles away from Fort Custer.

I found a Fort Custer map and looks like TG 1819 is definitely military police there at the training center at least for this weeks Naval event.
"Building 2420" and the "Pentagon" are on the map: https://www.custercadet.com/uploads..._custer_training_center_cantonment_area_2.jpg

Probably someone from Lapeer Armory. Them and Fort Custer are both Michigan Army National Guard outlets. My guess is its a statewide training talkgroup.

That's because there's no Michigan Army National Guard outlets in range of those towers, but there is one in Lapeer County (Lapeer Armory).

Not necessarily. When Selfridge ANGB went onto MPSCS, it was part of the Macomb County transition. All of the radios I used on the base were assigned RIDs with 50 (Macomb) in them.

I threw this talkgroup in question into my scanner on the way to work this am. Without a doubt, this is training at the Fort Custer training center. They referenced Harmonia rd, which is a Battle Creek area road that is both on and off base. There are some identified talk groups affiliated to the National Guard in the 1820 range, so this assignment is totally plausible.
