Mt. Agamenticus Region Net is a region net only. NO SIMULCAST on this Net.

York DOT- Sounds like a repeater issue with a long tail.

I just wanna say; I love the new system. It's easier to follow than the old analog system. The only 2 drawbacks is you HAVE TO have the CC with at least 2 bars showing, and you have a whole lot of tagging to do -if- you program by hand like me.
Thanks to Thunderbolt for bringing this to our attention

You're welcome! This system was very slow to take flight, but things are looking pretty good now. The biggest obstacle that Harris Radio, and the state of Maine went through, was obtaining radio frequencies in the VHF-High band spectrum that was approved by Industry Canada at various transmitter sites. It will be very interesting to see how this all pans out in the future.

State prison is still on the old system and I've heard troopers on the old system here in waldo/knox county.

I do not think Knox has any plans to move over to the P25 system, at least from what I have read/understood.
I may be wrong though as I have just recently gotten back into the hobby.
I do know they dispatch a few of the small local towns as well as troopers.
Camden and Rockport police are both dispatched by the KRCC as well as some other town's EMS and Fire. (Union, Hope, Appleton all come to mind)

MSCommNet Map November 2014

Not sure if this has been posted here before.

Found it today while trying to see where Coggan's Hill was exactly to see why I was not picking it up on 154.72500.

Must be too many hills in the way.

Oh well, found the map while i was searching the web for more info and thought I'd post it up here in case anyone was interested.

You might want to check out the many links with the history of the system as the folks at SNE have been watching it develop for years
