I can get a 50-pack for about $30, and a 500 foot roll of RG6 for $50 or so. The crimper itself was about $75

Each jumper then costs about $2 each in material, 5 minutes in time.

I did end up buying a couple dozen pre-made 3' BNC-BNC jumpers at Fry's last year on sale, they seem to work fine except I found one with a missing pin on the end. Always check for continuity!

BTW, I like the neatness of the OP's wiring. Something to emulate in the future!

If they were "good" they would have let me pickup some multicouplers in person when I was passing through town. Instead, they are just annoying due to the some stupid excuse they gave me and forced me to pay shipping and handling.

Interesting you should mention this. When I received the address to return the mutlicoupler for repair I googled it to get the zip code, and I couldn't happen to notice that is was a single family house in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I suspect that is the reason (zoning, privacy, ect.)

Very nice setup.. Just wondering how the audio is with no visible speakers? Do you hear the scanners pretty well with just the onboard radio speakers?

Mike

I left the angled area below the clock free with the intent of adding external speakers, but I honestly have not had the need. The CDM internal speakers are the strongest and have to be regulated not to overpower the other receivers. The BC350A is the weakest link, but set at a higher level it is quite functional.
