my local area frequency channels?

I am new and have an old scanner I would like to listen to local police & emergency. I am in Auburn/Federal way washington which is south king county. Can anyone help?

Right here at RR you can go to the home page and click on the left side of the home page under Radio Features then click on "RR Database" then click on "WA" then click on "King" county, or any county you want, to get:

Your old scanner may not be able to monitored the Trunked Radio Systems in your area though.

What type of scanner do you have, I if it is a none trunking scanner it will be of no use in your area, so let me know what you have and I will let you know if it will work for what you want it to do.
