Very, very nice.
As both a railfan and ps listener, i must say you have a very nice and well rounded set of Motos.

And yes, from experience, a Moto makes for VERY enjoyable RR listening, very easy on the ears.

In fact, it motivated me to finally throw up some pics of my rigs.

Here we go...

Does using the VHF RR radio provide better audio quality than a scanner would?

My MCX100 railroad is ok ,but the Maxtrac will out perform the MCX hands down on RX. It may be that the MCX100 is so old ,I have had Maxtrac's that are going deaf in the old age too. I rarely use the MCX100 because it does not scan. The Moto's have have better audio quality and a much higher out put.

Nice looking set up. I have a question. I have two CDM1250's and I purchased a "ribless" programming cable from Polaris however, I can not get the cable to work, the software does not connect right. I have tried using this cable on three different Windows XP verions and it dosn't work. Any recommendations on programing equipment?
