need help with splitter and fm trap

i have one antenna and i was wanting to use it for 2 scanners and i have a splitter and a fm trap
should i put the fm trap before the splitter or after

Before the splitter is best.

I would try it first without the trap, just in case you don't really need it.

I use a TV splitter but it also has an amp to make up for the loss. EDA2800
Also be sure the splitter you use is for the freq range you want. Some TV splitters are only up to 500 Mhtz.

If the FM interference might affect either scanner, put it before the splitter. But, it never hurts to try it without the splitter as was mentioned.

i have this GE/RCA RCAVH47RG 2-Way Coaxial Cable Splitter
i think it's from 5 to 900mhz but I can't really find any information on it
