Need help with WIN95 software for Pro95

The "help-button" is grayed-out on the software I downloaded, where can I get instructions for using this program ? Don't see any info on sight !

I find it pretty easy. Click on the 'Channels' tab then, you just select the bank you want to program, then in the frequency field where it says 0.00000, that's where you enter your frequency. And the blank space next to that is where you type in the text tag. When your done, you can go to "Scanner" at the top margin of the screen, and select "Upload".

I tried this with scan bank #6 and lost all the data in the other 9 banks ! What happened ?

Win95 writes the entire file to your scanner. If you only had entries in bank 6 and left the rest empty, that's how it would have loaded it to your scanner.

Basic rule - download from the scanner first. Then make changes and upload.

Just build another file. The one you wrote over is gone.
Like Al42 suggested... save a copy of what you have in your scanner before making changes.

You can't, but maybe someone has a p95 file for the same area. Ask in the state forum and look in the Yahoo Pro95, Pro93/Pro95 and Win95 groups.
