need help

bearcat bcd996xt.. only picking up conventional transmissions. think I did something in my settings.. my frequencies and id's are still programed but not signal bars

Check to make sure the Trunked systems, Sites or TGIDs are not locked out.

they could have add or changed the control channel.
what system are you trying to listen to ?

nothing is locked out and system has not changed my other scanner still working fine... I think I might have turned off vhf fm etc. now cannot find where to turn back on and see if that helps.
