I am having problems with my SDS200 going completely deaf after 18 to 24 hours of being on. The problem is something with the network connection. If the network cable is unplugged from the SDS and it is restarted. It will run continually for over a week with no problems. If I plug the network cable back in the SDS has audio for less than a day. I am running ProScan. I installed ProScan on a 2nd PC on my network. The SDS does the same after 18 to 24 hours, it is deaf. I can see the SDS stops on a channel on then display and the history in ProScan shows the SDS stopped on frequencies, but there is no audio from the SDS. I also tried a Weather search when it goes deaf, there is no audio either. The search will stop on frequency but no audio until rebooted. I have checked it with a 2nd scanner with the same frequencies to verify there is audio on the frequency when the SDS has no audio.
I have had the SDS for about 2 months. The SDS has been on my network and I have been running ProScan since I received the SDS. The audio issue started about 2 weeks ago. Nothing with the SDS or my network has changed in the last 2 months.
