I saw TG 11000 come up yesterday. Couldn't make out what they were saying since it was very choppy. Perhaps it was a simulcast or related to the RNC.

Anyone have additional information or update as to when migration to the new system is to occur?

The Scope of Work document had targeted "infrastructure acceptance testing must be completed by July 1, 2024".

With these sorts of things, don't be overly concerned about deadlines. Things can and certainly have been pushed back any number of times in the world of local, county, state, and federal govt.

Does anyone have any updates for this new system? It seems that some talk groups are not being patched like they were before.

I posted this from earlier this year the radio system WILL NOT be fully implemented by the time the RNC 2024 convention happens, this is going to be a multi year project
Like those funny FIRST AMERICAN BANK commercials. "Sounds like it takes a long time." "No no no. It takes a really really long time."

I'm in Bayside. I can pick them up on my SDS200 with a Diamond RH77CA antenna, but my Unication G5 with the stubby antenna just beeps and says "OUT OF RANGE". I verified that both radios are programmed with the same 700 MHz channels.

I originally downloaded the Milwaukee P25 system into my SDS200 and Unication G5 using the RadioReference download, so each radio was programmed with the same exact information. The SDS200 continues to receive the new system loud and clear, while the Unication G5 shows "OUT OF RANGE".

Today I solved the mystery! After carefully reading the information on bottom of my SDS200's display I saw that the RFSS ID = 30 and the Site ID also = 30. This is 30 in decimal which = 1E in hexadecimal. When I looked at the programming that was downloaded from RadioReference into the Unication G5, I noted that the RFSS ID = 1 (hex) and the Site ID = 1E (hex).

I changed the RFSS ID to 1E, reprogrammed the Unication G5 and it now receives the system loud and clear too! I just submitted ticket #268430 to have the database corrected.
