^^^ - Just bumping up KC2ZHY's info on Site 21.

As of this morning, Site 21 was still not in Wide mode, which means it's unavailable to subscribers. The control channel was 774.60625, which is (oddly) 7TAC74

So new mystery then. Or perhaps I misunderstood John's post. It seemed from what he wrote that those 3 TG/RID's were affiliating directly to it.

I took "Couple of other things over the last few days." to mean that the rest of his post was unrelated to seeing Site 21 again.

I just checked again, Site 21 is still not in wide mode.

Its still coming across as Phase 1 on the Union County site, I'm picking it up on my BCD996T which is only Phase 1. Hearing them talking to Mercy 9 and some BLS units. Strange for sure.

Could be what I ran into with Passaic County.

If a radio is operating in Phase 1 mode, even 1 radio out of the entire fleet, the entire TG on that specific site, reverts to Phase 1, while that site is active.

Happened the other night with Passaic County. They are Phase 2, but a Phase 1 radio I’m assuming was used, and the entire PC Dispatch TG, was coming in on Ramapo on 396xt.

Yeah like I mentioned in my original it started when they took over Plainfield EMS dispatching so my guess is someone has a Phase 1 Radio thats affiliating with the UC Simulcast. I'll have to run Unitrunker on the site and see what I can see.

Could be. Please let us know.

Perhaps they haven’t upgraded all the radios yet. And it would be interesting to see what specific radio ID’s are Phase 1. If it’s just one, or possibly multiple, then maybe that’s the answer.

4747 is WPU PD1. It is currently patched to an analog conventional channel.

Looks like NJSP Troop D may have gotten new radios. I'm seeing a lot of affiliations and transmissions on GSP and TPK TGs using radios in the 2370xxx series. Appears to be too many IDs to simply be a console ID change.

I'm gonna assume this is so they will also have access to the Turnpike Authority's Phase 2 system.

I'm seeing it on Hunterdon. A bunch of radio IDs since late last week. All affiliate to either C3-15 or A1-1. A bunch of denials also.

NJ ICS Site 21

And the mystery challenge of the day is: Where is Site 21 located? It's now a Peer Site to Bordentown Simulcast, and showing a CC of 774.60625. Hmm...

Post #3051 has some hints on where Site 21 is located.

I think we need to reset the search for Site 21 and scrap all of the previous speculation as to where it's located. As of right now, I am no longer seeing Site 21 as a peer to any of the sites I previously saw it (Hunterdon, Netcong, Randolph, Washington, etc.)

I just had a "duh" moment.

Site 21 could very well be the mobile deployable site. That could explain why it comes and goes, and has now changed the adjacent site list.

It's also worth noting that the state got a waiver to use the 700 MHz nationwide interop frequencies for the mobile site, notably 774.60625.

It was perhaps right in front of our faces the entire time!

It should be noted that the RRDB entry of RFSS 2, Site 1 for the mobile site was just a placeholder entry I used years ago to get it in the database, it was never the actual values that it uses.
