Looks like they just added a 1 and leading zeros to existing console RIDs to make them all 8 digits.

I was running Unitrunker the other day and noticed that Site 34 (Wall) and 16 (Neptune) have an additional 800 MHz frequency from the NJSP Motorola 800 system converted over to NJICS. So I guess the team of contributors who drive all over the state (or have a shack at home/office) that run Unitrunker and Pro96Com have another task again of finding which site has which 800 MHz frequency converted over and to update the database with the updated frequencies (again). Should be fun... :)

(Before I submit any 800 MHz frequencies to the database, I want to re-confirm my findings for accuracy)

The end is near in the south.
That would've been better off in the NJSP 800 thread, but since posts are all over the place as it is...can you confirm which B106-10 frequencies are still active? We still have 7 listed in the database.

Also, if you are able, can you check whichever NJICS sites you might be in range of for the neighbor lists?

That last part goes for anyone following this thread. Please check the neighbor/peer listing for your local NJICS site(s) to see if anything new has popped up. We're already aware of site 61 Hamburg Mtn, but there should also be a new site at the Atlantic City Airport at some point in the near future.

I know that Atlantic Cape Community College is going on the air in the not so distant future as well as Mt Kipp (Glen Gardner). Hardware is installed and almost ready to go at those 2. I didnt make it to Hamburg or Pt Republic yet to see how far they have gotten.

Thanks for the location update for the ACY site. I was under the impression that Port Republic was one of the existing subsites of the Hammonton cell.

I have seen site 62 pop up on a few times since midweek. It’s not consistent but I also have vfo’s set for some sites that don’t always come in.

Its possible. There was an IR or ASR there (my memory gets the best of me sometimes) so need to see what comes up online once its in service.

Port Republic was a 4.x IR, but as far as I'm aware has also been subsite 3 of the Hammonton cell for years.

Site 62 (858.70625) is appearing as a peer to the Bordentown Simulcast. Is anyone else seeing Site 62 as a peer to any other sites in the system down there? I notice that it's not appearing in @Audiodave1 screenshot of the Berlin Simulcast peers, which it should be if that is the new Atlantic Cape Community College site near the airport.

The Port Rep site is still on the old T1 system and has not yet been converted to MPLS. So, need to see if the existing rack will remain and the new rack will be expansion, and everything moves to ethernet or, if they only use the new rack with MPLS and take down the old T1 rack... Off to check on Mays Landing

Does anyone know what which sites carry which NJSP talkgroups? Does it vary? Or are certain talkgroups only broadcast on certain sites?

Short answer...NJSP radios and talkgroups have access to all sites as they are a statewide agency. Other agencies and/or their talkgroups are restricted to certain locations as to not tie up resources scanning or listening in areas they are not assigned.

Now for the NJICS system...it is a hybrid of simulcast cells and stand alone repeaters. So even though all NJSP talkgroups can access any site, if that talkgroup or radio using that talkgroup is not affiliated or associated on that site, and thats the site you are listening to, your mileage may vary and you may get nothing or you may get something.

I listen to the Cranbury ASR. Unless someone is affiliated on that site with the talkgroup I want to listen to, I won't hear a peep. But if I can hear the Bordentown Simulcast and that radio is affiliated there, I will hear that talkgroup I am looking for...

The old 4.1 system though was nice to listen to since it would be very rare for you to miss any conversations as it was a true simulcast oriented system between the 3 zones within NJ.
