I've got a P25 2 scanner and the NJICS was recently reloaded with NJICS.
Is there any difference with the programing now that I'd have to redownload the programing again from RR?

I noticed there's been frequencies added to the Cumberland County Site but I don't see that listed in the changes log. So I tried to download the whole system to update my unication however it says invalid imput string when trying to import the sites/frequencies but the talkgroup file works fine anyone have any suggestions?

I had to open the file in excel and remove the "C" added to the control channel in case anyone else has the same problem.

I'm in northern Bergen county. I haven't been paying close attention but seems I stopped hearing NJICS about a week ago. Anyone else having the same problem? I normally hear lots from Alpine. I am also monitoring Meadowlands and Passaic - nothing. Any thoughts?

For NJICS now, do we need to have all the frequencies for a Site programmed, or should just the Control frequencies still work? I ask this because ever since I programmed in Parkway (State PD) TGs for NJICS (for Sites from Union to Monmouth County), I don't seem to hear as much activity now. Do I need to program the Non-Control frequencies too for each Site?

You don't mention what scanner you're programming, but most modern Uniden and Whistler scanners only need the control channels to scan a P25 system. Keep in mind that the GSP talkgroups may not be active on the sites you're scanning, or may only be active sporadically.

You only need to program the control channels. No guarantee that you're going to catch all of the GSP activity, totally depends on which site you scan most frequently and how active the talkgroup is at that site.

Since you have a 436, just let the scanner scan the system. I dont know that I would go as far as locking out all the sites that your scanner cant hear. The difference in the scan and capture may not make a difference by lessening what it has to scan. I take it you are programming the scanner using sentinel so just add in the NJICS system, make sure all the service types are checked and listen.

From your location you may be able to hear the Berlin Simulcast, the Cinnaminson ASR or the Bordentown Simulcast.

I have a 436 also, but even my 996 requires me to locate the antenna into certain windows. IE front living room window will receive the NJSP Berlin repeater really well with the Cinnaminson tower most of the time. But if I stick it in the back bedroom I get the Bordentown tower, even though it's on the opposite side of the building from Bordentown. I can receive the TP, but have yet to get GSP, and I'm in Pemberton!
Also found that the shorty antennas work a heck of a lot better than those telescopic or rubber ones. This is what's working really well for the 436....

Site 62 (858.70625) is appearing as a peer to the Bordentown Simulcast. Is anyone else seeing Site 62 as a peer to any other sites in the system down there? I notice that it's not appearing in @Audiodave1 screenshot of the Berlin Simulcast peers, which it should be if that is the new Atlantic Cape Community College site near the airport.
Yes I have Site 62 and now a Site 57 both off 03 Bordentown. These are not peers of Cranbury nor Freehold. I am unable to tune direct (no signal). On the SDR spectrum display zero trace .44375 and just barely a trace .70625. Maybe some tropo tonight.
