TG 4539 Radio ID: 2012242 on Union Co Site, Encrypted. Thinking this is another Plainfield PD channel (not in database)

That would be a Plainfield RID (2012 = Plainfield, 242 = Radio No). I had heard discussions of a Tac/Records channel, but can't confirm it.

Just curious has anyone heard anything from the Cinnaminson site? Is it even on line at this point?

Unitrunker is showing Site 37 (Cinnaminson) as active and on-line as a Peer Site to Site 3 (Bordentown). The Long Branch Site would not be encrypted; but are awaiting confirmation as to whether the Long Branch PD talkgroups decide to encrypt or stay in the clear.

BCD536 Talkgroup probramming

Just got my first digital scanner BCD536. I downloaded basic Sentinel software to pc, hooked up scanner and going through lists to find Howell talkgroup, Not to be found only existing simplex channels. Do you need and upgraded version of software to get those talkgroup numbers and program into homebase scanner? I'm reallly lost here and can't get anything. Any help would save me time and sanity.. Thanks Brian

You need to look under Statewide Systems and then select NJICS. You won't see these talk groups listed with the regular Howell frequencies.

It's been like that since they've transitioned off of the NJSP TRS.

Just picked up encryption on 4529. No radio IDs to verify it, but I'm assuming this is one of Howell PD's encrypted channels as per Pyro658's post earlier.

The listed ones for Howell are Dispatch 4525 and Detectives 4527. Seems like they are fumbling with it's use though...

I would think 4529 would be for detectives since it's encrypted,4527 is already listed in the DB as Channel 2/Operations.
