I'm going to at least make sure that the official name of each site/cell is documented on the site details pages, while the more commonly understood names will remain as-is. Referring to 22 as the "Monmouth County Simulcast" is much easier understood by 95% of users vs "Telegraph Hill Simulcast". I'm all for power users having as much nitty gritty detail as is available, however at the end of the day the RRDB is used primarily by casual listeners who have no need to know that 22 is the Telegraph Hill cell or what the 22.x subsite numbering is, or the channel numbering for that matter. KISS!

I use Google Maps and drop pins and label them. I would add pertinent info as provided In DB. Nice moving reference to the NJICS when on the road.

Being discussed here: NJICS Municipal Migration Discussion - Statewide

Yes, a submission to the database once usage is confirmed is the way to go.

Sure thing i’ve only heard activity so far on the one TG though the County primary DPW would you like me to submit just that one or both of them? I think they’re in the early stages of using the TG so far. I’ve only heard radio repair and another one which I’m thinking with a Newton big station possibly

Please continue the conversation in the thread I linked above, that is the more appropriate place for discussion of municipalities migrating to the system.

Today I confirmed the Freehold water tower site is up and broadcasting as Site 22. It’s definitely the tower just south of Tighe park.

Marlboro site is not operational yet. Road up 18 behind their township offices and nothing. Was going back and forth between barely picking up 55 and 22.

Looking at the maps it appears the Freehold tower will be moving to the water tower site off Jackson Mills Rd by Stone Hill Rd. I had originally heard it was moving to the AT&T building by the mall.

Speaking as a Monmouth listener, I didn’t notice any other surprises but it was nice to see that even the proposed towers appear to be included; like Marlboro and Aldrich Park & Ride.
I used the State Map & RR database to update pins and labels on my Google Maps.
I needed the below to cross check the information. At a glance for those Monmouth power users. Nice effort by the State for coverage. I stayed away from numbering 22.

Site 22 rolled it's CC over to 858.46875 in case anyone is wondering why they weren't picking anything up like I was. Silly me didn't have all the CC's programmed in because it hadn't changed in so long.

My .02. Looks like a great idea. I would not choose not to reuse any common ICS channels as a CC in Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean counties unless the site was very low.

During band openings I decode all the ICS south sites well, including the State of Delaware.

As the 700 MHZ band becomes more crowded, tropo will create more conflict despite best efforts.
This was thread #147 I posted back in March. Well it happened. Last Wednesday October 4 & 5 during the largest opening of the year. RF co-channel.

STR I is no longer at Eatontown PD and will not be returning. Will be deployed at the Meadowlands in early Nov for an exercise, then off for an overhaul.

Anyone have any info on TG 4093? 500xxx RID's in use, sounds like some sort of court officers or corrections. All of the transmissions captured by Calls were on the Cape May cell, so it appears that it was used recently in the southern part of the state.

I have that marked in my notes as statewide law enforcement since it comes right after the statewide sheriff and corrections talk groups, but that was just my assumption based on what I saw in Unitrunker. I have never heard anything on it.

Something new coming today. Tallk groups starting at 5329 to at least 5381. Looks like a dispatch console ID 11110001.

I am also seeing a new group of ID's that may or may not be related. 2304xxx range affiliating to 2563.
