That’s really weird as I was getting it on site 22…
By default, talkgroups are permitted on any site, unless specifically restricted. I've observed other local Cape May talkgroups come up on north sites over the years; doesn't make them "statewide", just means that someone affiliated with that talkgroup outside of the primary coverage area.
Oh that’s interesting. I thought with the tier system, they are only paid for on certain sites.
I figured out 2563, BPU (Board of Public Utilities)
It was my belief that TGs are restricted by site but the radios are permitted statewide. So you can use an IOP TG anywhere but your agency TG is limited depending on what is paid for.
I'm specifically talking about the default behavior of an ASTRO 25 system, which is to allow talkgroups at any site in the system. It's very possible, and quite probable, that the NJICS PTB have setup site access profiles to restrict talkgroups to particular sites. Based on the fact that I have seen localized talkgroups come up on sites well out of range of the intended coverage, it's reasonable to think that some fell through the cracks.
In any event, I'd like to get TG 4093 pinned down, since we have a pending submission to add it.

Submitted as requested. Since it is an early TG assigned for Cape May County it may have slipped through the cracks or still be set up as statewide for original testing purposes when the county was coming online.
4525 11ad T Howell PD 1 Howell Police - Dispatch listed in the data base. Not hearing anything? Not showing up in broadcastify either as a recent transmission. Anyone able to listen on NJICS? Curious why its not showing up as recent like some of the other TG's.
Howell is very active. What site are you monitoring? And someone would have to have a feed set up listening to the TG for you to monitor on Calls or Broadcastify.
Does anyone know if the details posted on the system for NJICS are 100% accurate? Was assisting a friend with NAS for that and Metro25 and neither would pickup anything, but other area systems are being scanned perfectly w/o affil. Appreciate any suggestions. I looked over his codeplug and it appears correct for the system CC and such posted on here.

I can attest to the meticulous DB. I do not do NAS but on my G5’s it is remarkably perfect. I see many comments on issues setting things up properly with NAS. Perhaps circle back and double check settings such as NAC and tables (if needed).

The NJICS database matches these numbers (not surprisingly). What can’t be discerned (completely) is the total number of sites within a simulcast cell. This passage from a recent public document gives us an estimate of the true size and scope of the system. Impressive!

"STR I is no longer at Eatontown PD and will not be returning. Will be deployed at the Meadowlands in early Nov for an exercise, then off for an overhaul."
I didn't see the STR at the exercise, kind of disappointed. was hoping to see what its all about. must of been something more important scheduled.

I saw the STR from NYS but not the NJ one. Not too many attending this comex. I've seen more in the past.
