Hello i bought a sds100 what is a good program to use for sds100?
You have to have Sentinel installed to maintain the master database, as well as to apply any (hopefully, future) firmware updates.

Past that, as jt has already suggested, my preference is ProScan. For the cost of the license ($50), you get lifetime updates to the program. Besides programming, you also get logging & recording, plus the program handles multiple Uniden scanner models, not just the SDS and BCDx36HP series. ARC536 is also available, but it only works for the SDS & x36HP scanners. It's "basic" version is $39.95, is only for programming. If you want logging & other features not in the Basic version, you have to purchase the Pro version, $69.95, which is about 20 bucks more than ProScan.

I will echo the other responses. Sentinel to keep the radio up to date and programming a FL from the database and Proscan for everything else. $50 for lifetime use on two computers, all future updates included is well worth the cost.

I'm glad to see that Proscan runs on Windows 7. It looks like I'll eventually be bringing my 9 year old 17" Dell laptop out of mothballs. I've not used it in three years, but it should make a great dedicated Proscan rig!
