Is there a way to turn off user avatars? Also, I've "unchecked" permission to display my online status, but it looks like it's still showing me online.
It probably just displays that for you.... everyone else probably doesn't see your status.

There is no way to "turn off" avatars.

Question for the Admins--in the News & Events section of the forums--i made 2 posts at 12:09 & 12:35am --in the old forums it would post as a new post now i cant even find it posted in new posts tab / whats new tab isnt this supposed to post on the main pages as listed as a new post

this seems to be i would say somewhat important to the community on FCC Notifications which is buried in the tavern section where no one can find it

I Submitted twice a FCC Notification on Cores in Community News to be approved on the 3 & the 16th of dec and it never was posted--I also emailed the support desk with no answer back----Should i Repost it Somewhere else or again in community news

Can you Plz take a look into this ---Thanx

Maybe a Suggestion how about opening a new tab (Forum Section) for fcc stuff -(Enforcements) / (Notifications) / (FCC-ID Registrations) on new items coming about

Something like this has been long overdue--Now you have a new look now is the time to expand the forums and make more sections

Go to bed ipfd320, you are drunk.

Yep, that's it. Don't usually view the site on a mobile device, but had to do it to check. I guarantee nobody cares whether or not I'm online.

It's unfortunate that one cannot turn off user avatars. To me, they serve no purpose and would rather not be subjected to them. I'll deal...

ETA: Actually, they're not too bad on a mobile device, but huge on a desktop. Maybe it's time I start using a mobile device more. It's not 1998 after all, right?

Only yourself and Moderators can see your online status. For everyone else, you are invisible.

I noticed the same thing but I think if you are logged in with your own account it always shows yourself online, but not to other people.

Yeah, I was going to say it appears that goes away on the dark theme. I'm sure it's just a quirk they can sort out; not a big deal IMHO.

Small detail, but are you going to add the RadioReference icon so that it displays in browser tabs? It shows the default icon in Chrome.

This makes it easier to find RR tabs when you have multiple open.

I'm running Chrome on a Windows 10 machine. The RR logo appears in the Chrome tab that I'm using to read this thread and type this response.

When I first tested the Xenforo stuff some months back, and then when you [Lindsay] switched us to Xenforo for good, I hated it for the first day -- until I found the "Dark" theme. I'm loving it now. Thanks for all of your hard work man!

Most avatars didn't carry over nicely from the old software. Re-upload it to refresh it.

Now the dark style shows Messages and Likes, but the default only shows Messages
