Is the SDS200 capable of receiving NEXEDGE Type-C NXDN VHF trunking?

It has an upgrade option for nxdn, I believe it receives both nxdn C and D options. It probably needs confirmed LCNs to track a nxdn system

Just learned recently that some systems do not need confirmed LCN to track.

@RT178c Looking at your other posts, seems you might be in (or close to) Jasper County which does not have any NXDN systems listed. If you post a link to the NXDN system, that could be helpful.

From my testing NXDN TRUNKING will not follow with out filling in the correct LCN's for UNIDEN Scanners.
The TRX Scanners are different they scan the voice channels and not Trunk Track for NXDN.
Conventional NXDN is not trunking and will work as LCN's are not needed.

Then that means you have not run across a NXDN DFA (Direct Frequency Assignment) system yet as it wont even let you enter the the LCN's into the scanner or Sentinel.

The LCN finder on the 200 will tell you if its DFA or not.

Thank you all for the information! The inquiry wasn't for Jasper County. I'm not aware of a system up and running on a NEXEDGE Type-C NXDN VHF trunking. I originally purchased the upgrade in hopes of using it for Crawford County but have not been successful.

I will need to google LCN.

LCN = logical channel number

The sds scanner can find the LCNs with lcn analyzer in trunking discovery mode, or if u use dsdplus with dongles u can find lcn's that way too

Only if the system does not use DFA as mentioned in posts 5 and 7 in this thread we are in.

Just 11K2F3E, I'm looking to see if any other ones are listed for Crawford County that could be nxdn

Everything in vhf thats been recently licensed (since 2019) is 11k2 emission except the one I posted. I don't see any others that would reflect nxdn for Crawford County, there could be one in another county but not in crawford

Thanks again to all! That being pointed out. Is Crawford possibly encrypted?
Other suggestions I might try to receive law enforcement? I can monitor fire out of crawford without issue.

Might help if we knew what u were trying to listen too, some systems may not be in the database yet, or what frequencies u might be trying to hear? Public Safety vhf or business vhf on some kind of digital system

Public Safety / Sheriff Dept Crawford County/Robinson Police Department. I am guessing VHF? I need to look at the license information again to attempt to determine what the repeater output frequency is.
