No, you never had to buy more than one radio to get that price at that time. The sale I originally referenced was at lower pricing than what MTC is currently offering. At that time, you could optionally add a Yaesu FT-4XR to the deal for an additional $17 if you wanted. But there was no requirement to purchase more than the scanner itself to get the price I quoted.

That brings us to today's prices, as pratzert has noted above: $629.99 for the SDS200, or SDS100 with free soft case for $589.50.

Today's prices are not as good as the sale I originally referenced, but the prices are better than available anywhere else that I know of. I have no affiliation with MTC other than as a happy customer of theirs.

The SDS200 I purchased from MTC is working beautifully by the way; just about ready to bite the bullet for an NXDN upgrade for the one pesky public safety agency nearby that uses it.

Nope, please reference your quote with a link. I just put a SDS200 into the MTC cart and it was $629.99 with NO OTHER RADIO NEEDED. No strings attached.
